With the new English curriculum reform in full swing,classroom conversation has become an important means to promote students' language ability and develop their subjective dynamics and creativity.The implement of classroom conversation in English teaching is provided as a carrier of communication,knowledge transmission,ideological communication,and conversational ability between teachers and students.However,novice teachers are in the initial period of teaching,with some problems in the operation of English classroom conversation,such as the not inspired repairs,too much teachers' utterance,monotonous discourse pattern,and the control of turn-taking,etc.These problems can lead to imbalance of the relationship between teachers and students,poor communication ability,blocking teachers' development,and affecting English class teaching.Based on dialogue teaching theory,social constructivism theory and critical discourse analysis theory,the paper selects two novice teachers as the object of the research,and collects research data through classroom observation and recording.This paper adopts case analysis as its research method,and bases on Fairclough's three-dimensional critical discourse analysis.Researcher tries to find out problems in novice teachers' conversation,and explore the effective suggestions from the perspective of critical discourse analysis.This paper can be divided into three parts: The first part of the paper is the first three chapters,as the theoretical part,mainly introduces the research background research,purpose and significance,research methods,definition of core concept,the literature review of domestic and foreign research and the corresponding theoretical basis.The second part includes the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter.As the main content,the second part mainly studies the hierarchical relationship hidden in novice teachers' classroom conversation in senior high school and reflection of communication ability between teachers and students from the perspective of critical discourse analysis,and then makes suggestions on the research conclusions.The third part is the sixth chapter,which puts forward the shortcomings and prospect of this research.The paper aims to study the novice teachers' classroom conversation from the perspective of critical discourse analysis so as to introduce this theory to more English teachers,and make them reflect on their teaching based on this theory.The study can promote novice teachers ' conversational ability and students' comprehensive language ability,and provide the direction for the novice teachers' professional development.
