A Study Of The Topic Sentence In The Mosuo Language

Through a large number of corpus investigations,this paper finds the topic structure of the Mosuo language in Yongning,and studies the structure of the topic,the type of semantic relationship of the topic structure and the means of the topic.At the same time,a comparison between Mosuo language and other languages of Chinese and Tibetan Languages indicates that Mosuo is a language with prominent topic features.This article is divided into seven parts,including the five chapter,introduction and conclusion.The preface mainly introduces the current situation of topic sentence research in Sino Tibetan language family,the research significance,theoretical method and source of corpus.The first chapter is a brief introduction to the Mosuo and Mosuo languages.It briefly introduces the history of Mosuo and the geographical location of Mosuo people,as well as its unique customs and matriarchal culture.The second chapter is the phonology of the Mosuo language.This paper describes the phonetic system of Mosuo language,and introduces the initial consonants,finals,tones and syllable types.The third chapter is about the topic and subject concept of Mosuo language and the constituent elements of the topic structure.The topic of the Mosuo language is different from the subject.Different grammatical markers have different conditions for topic and Subject Ellipsis,and the location of topic and subject in sentence is different.A variety of grammatical components and semantic components can be used as topics,and the subject is the principal component of the relationship between the predicate and adjectives,and the subject has the focus attribute,which excludes the features of the word.Moreover,the prototype of the subject is the agent characteristic,and the closer to the agent,the closer the subject is.The topic structure of Mosuo language is mainly"topic+?o³¹+statemate",with main topics,sub topics and secondary topics.The fourth chapter is about the semantic relation types of topic structure in Mosuo language.It includes argument co topic,register topic and copy topic.It reflects the relationship between topic and predicate verb,some are tight and some are loose.Among them,there is a close relationship between argument and common topic.In the structure of a copy topic sentence,Mosuo is able to express a variety of semantic meanings,such as contrast,juxtaposition,turning,concession,hypothesis and so on,using topic markers instead of Related words.Therefore,the topic marker in Mosuo language is more important than the sensitive operator.The fifth chapter is the topical means of the Mosuo language.It includes the topical means,the topic oriented means and the copy structure as the topic of topic,which make the Mosuo language a language with typical topic characteristics.The main topic mark is"?o³¹";topic prepositional means include object prepositional and adverbial prepositional prepositional;copy topic structure is rich,topic mark is more complex,mainly the topic mark of the body and the predicate copy structure is different.The conclusion is that the Mosuo language is the priority language of topic structure,which is characterized by highly grammaticalization topic markers and a variety of topic oriented means.At the same time,it compares the topic structure of the Mosuo language with other Chinese and Tibetan Languages,and finds that there are some common features in their topic markers.
