A Chinese Translation With Extensive Notes Of Remedia Amoris

After Horace and Virgil,Ovid became a famous Roman poet,especially in love.Ovid's poetic style is more spontaneous,rhetorical,sophisticated and unique.His rich and vivid mythological world has a sort of unique description in his new predecessors.This work is a result of the social and cultural environment of Augustus era and the combination of the poet's own personality and talent.It is also an important source for western writers and artists to find creative materials and inspirations.Ovid's book,Remedia Amoris,is one of the best works of the poet,as the end of Ovid's love poem.Its main content is to advise the unfortunate lover to eliminate the pain by hunting,going out,working in the field,drinking alcohol,or avoiding poets who write love poems.It can be said that this poem is the corresponding writing of the art of love,and the two poems are almost interlinked.This thesis is based on Antonio's collation,and the text Ars amatoriais,studied.This works discusse from three aspects,the first part discusses the social background and time background of Ovid and the works of Ovid himself,as well as the major editions and research reviews.The second part is the Chinese translation of the poem.The third part are the related annotations.Although named love poems,but the meaning is not only revealed the psychology of love,but also reflects the Roman people's Daily life and customs,to study the importance of its social and cultural background.In this paper,the poems is translated and annotated to further explore Ovid's writing style,rhetorical skills,and the historical background of Rome at that time.
