To Explore The English-Chinese Translation Strategies Of Football Professional Terms In Football Games From The View Of Lexicology

Since entering the 21 st century,Chinese politic,economy and culture have remarkable development,sports have gradually become a new way of public entertainment.As a major sports country,the number of large-scale sports events in the world has been increasing in China.And more and more sports events are flourishing in China.Translators have played a vital role in the process of various sports events.In recent years,various professional league clubs are flourishing,especially the football leagues which have the gradual promotion in professionalism.And some foreign coaches and athletes who have high professional levels have come to China.The continued participation of foreign footballers have not only improved the level of the league,but also enhanced the appreciation of the League.Therefore,excellent translators played an important role in football translation.Of course,the rapid development of football has also exposed the current situation of the shortage of translators who may also lack of professionalism and the low comprehensive quality.English lexicology is guided by the theory of modern linguistics,and the research object is English vocabulary.With the development of linguistics especially lexicology,the change of the form and meaning of vocabulary,the continuous extension of the relationship between words and words,the constant appearance of various idioms and dialect words make English-Chinese translation of vocabulary more complicated and changeable.In addition,the close relationship between vocabulary and culture,the differences of culture between China and foreign countries,and the translator's different level are all the research focus of current English-Chinese translation.Based on the basic theory of lexicology,this paper classifies the football vocabulary in various books,reports,magazines,news,training and competitions,and uses the Literature Review Method to explore the unique charm of football professional vocabulary in the field of English-Chinese translation.Football translation has exposed many problems from various situations such as wrong translation,mistranslation and so on.How to analyze the causes of such problems,how to use thelanguage skills and methods to remedy these problems skillfully and how to correct these shortcomings have become the focus of many translators.This paper uses the comparative analysis method and qualitative research method to analyze the causes of these shortcomings from the internal and external factors.Based on the criteria of Translation,translation concepts and translation skills,it aimed to provide theoretical support and practical help to English-Chinese football translation in the future.I hope this study can enrich the theory of football vocabulary translation and provide methods and skills for the use of words which are commonly used in the language practice so that learners can master a more systematic knowledge of football English vocabulary.I also hope it can provide the guidance and help for the current level of football English-Chinese translation and attract more excellent translators to join in football translation so as to help Chinese football to go to the world stage.
