Study On The Development Of Urban Children's Amusement Parks In Japan During The Period Of 1911 To 1955

The paper is based on the historical thematic documents and related scholars' works,using the methods of literature research,theory analysis and comparison,and taking that time as the main line,discusses in detail the construction,development and perfection of the Japanese urban children's amusement parks during the period of 1911 to 1955.Through investigation,the author believes that the development of the Japanese urban amusement parks during the period of 1911 to 1955 could be divided into four periods,namely,the embryonic stage of the early Taisho Era(1911-1915),the expansion stage of the late Taisho Era(1916-1925),the level enhancing stage from the first year of Showa Era to the time before the Pacific War(1926-1940),and the maturity stage of Post-war revival(1945-1955).In the early stage of Taisho Era,influenced by the construction of children's amusement parks in developed countries in Europe and America,the Japanese children's amusement parks began to sprout under the initiative of Kurabashi Mi etc.people.In the later Taisho Era,the construction of children's amusement parks in Tokyo,Osaka,Kobe and other Japanese cities began to take shape,among which Tokyo was the most developed one.The national children's amusement parks organization,namely the Japanese children's amusement parks association came into being as the times require.Before the first year of Showa Era to the time before the Pacific War,the construction of children's amusement parks was incorporated into the urban plans of some cities,and children's guidance reached its peak before the war,and the children's amusement parks association had been actively engaged in activities.During the post-war revival period,the reconstruction of children's park was revived with the corresponding post-war reconstruction of the country as a whole.In this period,the growth of the children's parks,and the completion of the planning and the facilities,the creation of the wilderness preservation system and the introduction of the relevant laws and regulationsand the configuration of the professional children's tour guides etc have shown that the construction of the Japanese urban children's amusement parks has moved towards maturity,and it has laid a solid foundation for its subsequent development.Through the scientific and reasonable restoration of the historical appearance and changing process of planning and construction activities of children's amusement parks since the Meiji Restoration in Japan's major cities,this paper explores the impact of historical activities on the reality.It provides the basic research for the scientific analysis and evaluation of the construction practice of the modern urban children's amusement parks and the historical enlightenment to solve the new problems of the modern city.In particular China's urban amusement parks construction is still in its early development stage at present,and we need to focus on the following questions: why is the children amusement parks construction built;How to plan the layout scientifically;and what the government,society,and the experts and the public should do to improve,operate and maintain the children's parks;whether China needs to set up similar children's game instructors;how to avoid the risk factors in the children's amusement parks and the expected good effect of the construction.All of these are new topics that need to be discussed and paid attention to in the future.
