Cultivating students’ critical thinking is the basic goal of education.It is the basic goal of quality education to educate people to cast the soul.At the same time,critical thinking also is the core quality of the spirit of innovation,and it plays an extremely important role in learning,research and work.Based on the study of the textbook American Literature which has grates influence of the mother tongue teaching materials in the United States in recent years,we can find that American Literature education has formed a critical thinking culture.The American language education has also formed a multicultural and forward-looking cultural quality characterized by critical thinking.It is fully reflected in the textbook editing concept,layout structure and arrangement of the content,and it also is reflected in the reading aid system,text system,practice system and writing system.This article from the perspective of the above four dimensions to consider the high school Chinese textbooks,we tries to make redesign of some texts from Chinese teaching materials,in order to show how to cultivate students’ critical thinking ability,so as to explore new ideas for the compilation of Chinese textbooks.This article is divided into two major parts.First,we analyze the textbook of the American Literature and think about how it can be cultivated in critical thinking.Second,it can give the Chinese textbooks to strengthen critical thinking training to provide writing inspiration.For the accuracy and richness of the information,I have collected a large number of books and materials related to the American Literature before I begin to write the paper.Including the Chinese version and the bilingual version,Finally,I selected the American Literature,it is Chinese women press,the editor is McGaffey,and it is translate by Ma Haolan.The English original is also retained.In the second and third chapters,the author focuses on the analysis of the design features of the American Literature teaching materials.It is found that the American Literature teaching material is how to carry out critical thinking training.The fifth chapter and the sixth chapter,this article provides some useful enlightenment and suggestions on how to strengthen the cultivation of critical thinking in Chinese language teaching materials.The first chapter,the article makes clear the important value of critical thinking in Chinese education.It discusses the importance of critical thinking training from the essential quality of modern citizens and the relationship between critical thinking,creative thinking and the development of innovation ability.This paper analyzes the current situation and reasons of the lack of critical thinking in Chinese language teaching.The article puts forward the necessity and feasibility of cultivating critical thinking in Chinese Language Teaching.It is emphasized that the Chinese textbooks should bear the function of critical thinking,and it is to highlight the Chinese textbooks is an important carrier of critical thinking training.The second chapter analyzes the characteristics of the teaching material in the cultivation of critical thinking in the American language.We are trying to excavate the features of American language education.We found that American language education has formed a critical culture of thinking.We start from the American language textbook selection system,teaching materials and the concept of the American language version,communication history and the influence of the world.The important goal of the American language is to cultivate the critical thinking of the students.At thesame time,it analyses the arrangement characteristics of the textbook of the American language.The textbook editor is how to infiltrate the cultivation of critical thinking in the arrangement system.This is a question that we should think about.The third chapter focuses on the design of the textbook of critical thinking in the American language.The author analyzed from four aspects,such as the reading aid system,text content,practice system and writing system.The American language is how to integrate the cultivation of critical thinking in the design of the content of the textbook.The fourth chapter starts with three aspects,such as the arrangement thought,the arrangement structure and the content design of the textbook.The author analyses the differences in the cultivation of critical thinking in Chinese and American Chinese textbooks.It is found that the teaching edition of high school Chinese teaching material is insufficient in the cultivation of critical thinking.The fifth chapter is the apocalypse contents,the author starts with the problems in the design of Chinese language textbooks.This paper focuses on the Chinese teaching materials should be selected from the concept,the content design and unit design to strengthen the cultivation of critical thinking,the content design includes help reading system,text content,practice system and writing system.The sixth chapter puts forward that the critical thinking should be regarded as an important content in the teaching and examination evaluation of the Chinese language course.The aim is to promote the reform of Chinese language teaching materials with the reform of curriculum,teaching,examination and evaluation system.This article mainly adopts the literature research method,the comparative study.method and the case study method,and in this paper,the American Literature is taken as the research object,from the perspective of critical thinking cultivation.Study the.·advantages of the American Literature in improving the critical thinking literacy of the students.This problem is the lack of critical thinking training,which is a problem in both Chinese language teaching materials and Chinese teaching.The purpose of this article is to provide some useful insights and suggestions for the current reform of Chinese language teaching materials.
