Unethical pro-group behavior is a kind of unethical behavior but with positive purpose of behavior motivation, which is becoming more and more concerned by researchers. However, there is still a lack of empirical researches both at home and abroad. Therefore, basing on the local culture, our study will explore the content and the structure of the unethical pro-group behavior. At the same time,we explore the role of this variable on the group of middle school students and the influence of group identification on unethical pro-group behavior. So that,it will be beneficial to enrich studies of unethical pro-group behavior and provides some theoretical guidance for the current moral education of middle school students.First, our research sorted out and analyzed related literatures of home and abroad, and combined with an open questionnaire to collect scale items of the unethical pro-group behavior, and then we followed the compilation process of crafting a standardized psychological scale strictly to explore the content structure of unethical pro-group behavior in middle school students by item analysis, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, and developed the unethical pro-group behavior scale.Secondly, used correlation analysis,criterion-related validity analysis and discrimination analysis to examine the relationship between our self-designed scale and the unethical pro-organizational behavior scale and the extreme pro-group behavior scale.Third, used t test, analysis of variance to analyze demographic variables of middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior. Finally, used correlation analysis, regression analysis and structural equation to explore how the group identification effects on unethical pro-group behavior and its mechanism. The results of this study are as following:(1)The content structure of middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior is a single dimension structure.(2)Middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior exists significant difference in the gender demographic characteristic.(3)Group identification has a significant positive impact on middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.(4)Internal group preference partially mediates the relationship between group identification and middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.(5)Moral disengagement partially mediates the relationship between group identification and middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.(6)Moral identification significantly moderates the relationship between group identification and middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.(7)Moral identification significantly moderates the relationship between moral disengagement and middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.(8)Moral identification significantly moderates the mediating effect of moral disengagement between group identification and middle school students’ unethical pro-group behavior.
