Foreign Chinese character teaching has always been the weak point in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language,some scholars in recent years the foreign Chinese character teaching conducted a series of exploration,but the foreign Chinese character teaching still can't find a set of scientific and reasonable and effective methods of teaching.Therefore,this paper studies the teaching methods and strategies of foreign characters from the perspective of cognitive theory.The first chapter mainly introduces the significance of the topic selection and the background of the topic,the general situation of Chinese characters teaching and the deficiency of the research.The second chapter mainly analyzes the teaching of foreign characters from the perspective of psychological cognition,including the particularity of Chinese characters and the cognitive defects of Chinese characters.The third chapter mainly introduces the existing teaching methods and teaching strategies of foreign Chinese characters,introduces and analyzes five Chinese teaching methods,and puts forward three teaching strategies.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the problems of compiling the teaching materials of foreign characters and the necessary qualities of Chinese teachers,and puts forward some Suggestions on the defects of existing textbooks.The last chapter summarizes the main content of the full text.
