As the new media currently turns overwhelming,we the people are swarmed by the Chinese character �Wei� on a day-to-day basis.These days,Weibo,WeChat and micro business are prevailing,which lay a solid foundation for developing micro film.Micro film has been progressively recognized and broadly known by the public as the new blood in the film industry these years.Now this type of film is indispensable in people's daily life,delighting people emotionally and mentally.The Lost Happiness is a 20 min micro film.This film depicts two characters whose relatives were gone following the linear narrative based on the social reality.One of the characters is a stubborn old man(Liang Yinqiu)who lost his daughter,and the other is a girl(Lu Kexin)who lost her parents in a car accident.They live together in a rented house.The film narrates how they get along with each other within a relatively short period with the piano music Mother accompanied.As the film presents,they were strangers at the beginning.They had the dispute,but eventually the conflict between them was eliminated.They open their mind and embrace each other.This paper follows the order of producing this micro film.The micro film is successfully produced using the narration of lens language.The first section of this paper analyzes the production background and introduces what the director has interpreted of The Lost Happiness.The pre-production of this film is elucidated in the second section,primarily consisting of six parts,e.g.the play writing,character design,selection of actor and scene.The mid-term shooting of this film is presented in the third section,which primarily involves the preparation before shooting,mid-term shooting and the problems existing in these processed.The post production of this film is illustrated in the fourth section,containing the editing,color matching,sound production and other aspects.The fifth section presents the understanding of the author gained by producing this film,which involves the problems found in the production of the micro film and the paths for the further effort in this field.
