Literature Review Of The Southern Dynasties (420-589) Stone Inscriptions

The literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties has very important literature value and historical value in the research of Chinese historical bibliography.To make a systematic and comprehensive study of the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties existing in a certain number is a task that should be undertaken by bibliography major.In this paper,I try to classify and make a cataloguing and monographic study on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties and review the current status on the research from the perspective of bibliography.This paper is divided into two parts,the first is a review of the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.This part mainly introduces the distribution,cataloguing,related topic research and the advantages and disadvantages of the study on the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.The second part is the index and cataloguing source of the research on the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties,mainly focused on current research on each stone of the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.This paper collects the cataloguing of unearthed stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties and the research on it,and then summarizes the distribution and booklist according to the shape of stone inscription and important scholars in this field.This work makes the context of current research on the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties more clear and the value of the research more rewarding.Many scholars have been concerned about the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.Some scholars have achieved fruitful results.These research results include two aspects: first,the cataloguing of the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.The cataloguing of the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties are scattered in ancient epigraphy works.It is not easy to consult the research on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.The monographs on the literature on the stone inscription published in recent years have systematically included some stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties in epitaph,brick carving or recordation of statue.Comprehensive collation has not been found so far.Second,the specific study of the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.These researches involve a wide range,including history,bureaucracy,religion,calligraphy and other fields.In these researches,researchers investigated calligraphy value or characters and events recorded on a stone stele through the inscription in the form of textual research and also in the form of historical materials used in related research.The innovations of this paper are as follows:First,to establish the research system of the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.Roundly collecting the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties and comprehensive research will fill the omissions in the study on the literature on the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.Second,to combine the bibliography of stone inscription and historical records.To make a systematic study of the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties.Third,to make a comprehensive research from the aspect of literature,history,sociology and other fields.It provides information for the literature,history,sociology and other research fields of the Southern Dynasties.Last but not least,the statistical method is used to make statistical analysis on the data of the stone inscription in the Southern Dynasties according to the unearthed land and category.It deepens the use of statistics in stone inscription bibliography.
