Arnold Schoenberg is a musician who has made an important contribution in the history of modern music.He studied the techniques of composition in depth when he inherited the late romantic music style.Forming the different music style of"atonality","free atonality" and "twelve-tone sequence".He was the pioneer of expressionist music.This paper selects the two Chamber Symphony of Schoenberg as the research object.These two tonal works were completed in the early tonal period of 1906 and the late twelve-tone sequence in 1939.Because of the long period of the creation,these two works reflected different styles.The two works used the same theme and tonal music composition techniques,so there were similarities in the form,harmonics and allocators.The author adopts the method of comparative study,and involves the historical background,music thought and other aspects related to the two Chamber Symphony.This paper is divided into six parts.The introduction summarizes the research status of the two Chamber Symphony and the research methods and innovation points of the thesis.The first chapter introduces the life of Schoenberg and the background of the two works.According to the development of chamber music and symphonic music,this paper summarizes Schoenberg's fusion method of these two genres and provides background information for music analysis.The content from chapter two to chapter four is the composition technique analysis of two Chamber Symphony.It mainly includes the vertical and horizontal sonata development mode,and the formation of the structure;The use of the four degrees chord superposition with the minor secondaries with effect on tonality;The two pieces are symphonic instruments.The second chapter using Ruhuai Yang's theory,comparing the two works divertimento principle way of use and the use of inversion technique in the process of form.In the third chapter,the author explores the functional and non-functional harmonics of the two works,and summarizes the establishment and the fuzzy way of tonality.The fourth movement explores how Schoenberg used the combination of band instruments to orchestrate the chamber music of the two works.Through the comparison of music emoticons and the processing mode of the rhythm beat,we found that the two interior symphonic songs were more exquisite and the late and expressionistic music style.I discusses the aesthetic connotation of two pieces in the fifth movement that is from the perspectives of music aesthetics of Schoenberg's zeitgeist expressionist aesthetics,deo idealism thought and exploration of Schoenberg's music aesthetic concept.In this paper,I want to use clear and concise language,with two Chamber Symphony music analysis as the breakthrough point,after comparing reveal two pieces of writing style and inner link,to make people get a deeper understanding of Schoenberg's music.
