In today’s fast-changing social environment,people are pursuing fast food consumption,and painting is no exception.This makes "ancient meaning" not often mentioned in Chinese painting nowadays.This article focuses on the central thesis of "ancient meaning".From the origin of "ancient meaning",the aesthetic complex of ancient Chinese culture,the concrete manifestation of Chinese painting under the influence of "ancient meaning" and the practice of the exploration of "ancient meaning" in the course of my study.In this paper,by referring to historical data,theory with practice method of reasoning,that "ancient meaning" not restore ancient ways,but a simple,simple,natural aesthetic and broad,complete code and character.
