A Translation Report On Japanese Immigrants Invade Heilongjiang

Archives are first-hand materials for historical research and are also an important historical basis for realizing national interest appeals.In recent years,the compilation,translation,and digitization of historical archives have received strong support from the government.Against this background,major domestic archives actively answered the call of the country,compiled and published the archives of the history during the Japanese invasion of China.The translator’s translation task “Japanese Immigration Invading Heilongjiang” is a book compiled historical archives during the Japanese invasion of China and published by the Heilongjiang Provincial Archives.The translation of historical archives during this period includes not only the translations of foreign languages,but also the translation of Chinese-language archives.At present,the translation of these archives can provide people with a way to approach history,as well as provide a certain reference for modern scholars at home and abroad.The value of translating these archives is far more than that.They can play a greater role in the international community and in our country’s diplomatic career.In particular,they can become a powerful counterattack against the Japanese right-wing forces who have always try to deny the history.The translator translates and analyzes four reports in the “planning and implementation” section of the book “The Japanese Immigration Invading Heilongjiang” and writes a translation practice report.I hope that I can do a little bit of work for the translation of such texts.In this translation work,the translator first analyzes the source language and the target language text in combination with Nord’s text analysis model.To achieve the purpose of communicative text as the ultimate goal,the translator choose appropriate translation strategies and methods,and make adjustments at any time according to the actual situation in the actual work.Then,according to the problems in the process of text translation,I find out the solutions that I thinks are effective through the analysis of specific cases,such as the use of annotations and free translations to solve the problems of lexical gap and semantic void,and through analysis of the Chinese sentence structure features to help understand the source text,select the appropriate translation method to accurately translate the source text into the target language text.As China’s discourse power in the international community continues to increase,the world is more willing to learn about a true and complete China.In the future,our country’s historical archive translation business will continue to thrive.Through this translation project,the translator has accumulated some experience and knowledge for his future career in translation,and hopes to provide certain translations for such texts in the future.I also hope that I can provide some reference and reference for the translation of such texts in the future,and contribute to our country’s archive translation business.
