The Research Of Complicated Web Banner Design System Based On Parametric Design

With the development of Internet and multi-media all around the world,the variety of campaign advertisement is getting more and more versatile varied from text and articles to images and videos through this period.It’s of course bring more information to people in daily life and more opportunities and profit to companies.However,image advertisements make up a relatively significant share in all kinds of advertisements.For instance,the image advertisements put up in all the webpages,posters and banners in the online-shop websites.However,there are two main issues before us.Firstly,the quantity demanded rapidly grows and the demand of quick iteration cannot solved by the softwares such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.However auto-generation system like "Luban" brought up by Alibaba perfectly solved this problem but lacks in interaction with designers.Therefore,the intelligent design with the consideration of human factor is urgently to await put forward.This paper will focus on the web banner in the e-commerce and how to design a computer aided system to help people making web banner.We separate the advertisement into three layers:product layer,text layer and background image layer.And we separate the background image layer into basic background and shape layout layer.According to the methods of parametric design and shape grammar we design each layer with the aid of computer and extract these procedures into code for pattern recognition and quantity production.In view of the above problems,we discussed and studied the application of parametric design and shape grammar under the circumstance of design of web banner.And we implemented these methods to set up a web banner design system.
