The Study On The Development And Artistic Characteristics Of The Guzheng Concerto Since 1980s

This paper takes the Guzheng concertos from 1980 s as the main research object,mainly discussing the development of zither music from "traditional" to "modern".Using“Fantasy of the Miluo River” ? “Regret and Hate of Linan”?“Xi Chu Ba Wang”?“Wang Qin Chuan”?“Mooring at Night by Maple Bridge”?“Lu You Yu Tang Wan”?“Yun Shang Su”?“Ru Shi” as the examples to analyze the classic works of Guzheng concertos based on the different thematic characteristics.Outlining the music features of the Guzheng concerto based on its aesthetics?accompanying types and performance,pointing out the faced problems during its process of development and finally giving the prospects for its development in the future.This thesis is divided into four parts:Part one: The development of Guzheng concertos from "traditional" to "modern".This part firstly from the angle of time for each period,introducing the development of Guzheng concertos from "traditional" to "modern" and generalizing its different characteristics,forms and changes.Part two: The thematic characteristics of Guzheng concertos.This part mainly analyzes the classical zither music concertos based on the different thematic characteristics.Using “Fantasy of the Miluo River”?“Regret and Hate of Linan” ? “Xi Chu Ba Wang”as the themes of historical stories,“Wang Qin Chuan”?“Mooring at Night by Maple Bridge” as the themes of ancient poems,“Lu You Yu Tang Wan”?“Yun Shang Su”?“Ru Shi” as the themes of love to give the examples of the classic works of Guzheng concertos.Part three: The music characteristics of the Guzheng concerto.This part mainly discusses the characteristics of the music of Guzheng concerto,respectively from its accompanying types,performing forms and music aesthetics.Analyzing and discussing the diversified development of Guzheng characteristics.Part four: Thinking about the development of the Guzheng concerto.This part mainly discusses the problems faced by the development of the Guzheng concerto and giving the prospects of its development in the future.
