Currently,the impression of Christianity is "foreign religion" continues to affect our judgment of Christianity,and the essence of this problem is the Christian’s social identity.Among college students,compared with other religions,Christianity’s growing fastest,and have the greatest impact.Investigate the social identity of Christian college students,contribute to a better cognition of this group.This study used quantitative research methods,209 Christian college students surveyed about their social identity,through collating the data and analysis,we havefound that:First,Christian college students’ religious diversity with the diversity and complexity of the characteristics.Presents three types:Orthodox-religious identity,adaptation-religious identity and folk beliefs of religious identity.Second,Christian college students actually rely on Inter-group comparison to strengthen the border between the groups.Third,different types of religious identity had effectsthe traditional cultural identity and recognition of the importance of citizenship,but just have little effect.Fourthly,the degree of Religiosity have a direct impacton religions and citizenship identity,but does not have direct effecton traditional cultural identity.Finally,multiple social identity has different "pop out" levels in specific contexts.
