With the development of science and technology,virtual reality technology has been applied in various fields,and human-computer interaction in virtual reality has also received attention.Among them,the problem of text input under virtual reality is also worth paying attention to.Researchers and developers have proposed a variety of text input methods.The most popular method is to place a familiar virtual keyboard in a virtual reality environment.However,there is a low degree of confirmation,existence of deviation,lack of accuracy,fatigue and other issues.Aiming at the use scene of text input through virtual keyboard in virtual reality environment,this study proposes a stereo enhancement technology to investigate the effect of stereo enhancement technology on the text input of virtual reality environment with keyboard in the interaction of handle and in freehand interaction.This study also explore the effects of parameters such as keyboard angle,enhanced response time,and enhanced distance on text input performance.This study consists of two parts: The first study is the effectiveness and influencing factors of virtual keyboard stereo enhancement keys with the handle interaction in the virtual reality environment.The study consists of two experiments: The first experiment investigates the effectiveness of stereo enhancement keys in the use of handle in the virtual reality environment;The second experiment is the impact of enhanced response times on the effect of stereo enhancement technology in virtual reality environments in handle interactions.The second study is the effectiveness and influencing factors of virtual keyboard stereo enhancement keys in freehand interaction in the virtual reality environment.The study contained three experiments.The third experiment investigates the effectiveness of stereo enhancement keys of the virtual keyboard in different angles in freehand interactions in the virtual reality environment;The fourth experiment is the impact of enhanced response times on the effect of stereo enhancement technology in virtual reality environments in freehand interactions.The fifth experiment is the impact of enhanced distance on the effect of stereo enhancement technology in virtual reality environments in handle interactions.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)No significant difference in the subjective scores of the subjects,whether in the handle interaction or the freehand interaction,but the average input time a enhanced virtual keyboard using the stereo enhancement technology is significant lower than a normal virtual keyboard without using stereo enhancement technology.(2)At the keyboard tilt angle,under the freehand interaction,the angle of the keyboard tilted or vertical had no significant effect on the input time,but the subjective score of the inclined keyboard was higher than the vertical keyboard;At the enhanced distance of stereo enhancement technology,3-6 cm is appropriate under freehand interaction in virtual reality environments;At the enhanced response time of stereo augmentation technology,100 milliseconds is appropriate under the handle interaction and 100-200 milliseconds is appropriate under the freehand interaction in virtual reality environments.
