At present,lots of documentaries introduce cities and scenic spots in China.These documentaries played an important role in spreading the soft power of Chinese culture.But they rarely have English translation or theEnglish translation is very rough.The translation of such tourism publicity documentaries can further introduce the local customs and regional culture in China.So effective translation of these documentaries is conducive to enhancing the understanding of the international community and promoting the rapid development of China's tourism industry.This practice report takes the documentary tourism Roaming in Shanghai Documentary Channel as an example,and selects three episodes to simulate consecutive interpreting.This documentary mainly introduces the city and culture of China and its production is excellent.As a translation corpus,it has social application value.Through the translation of this practice report,the translator finds that the key to solve the problem is to deal with the long and difficult sentences in Chinese English consecutive interpreting.In this paper,the problems of long sentence in the process of translation are discussed,including loose sentences and more oral expression,complex sentence structure,large amount of information,lack of sentence composition and unknown meaning.By using the theory of interpretive theory,the corresponding solutions are found,including disassembly,reorganization,deletion,information integration,discourse interpretation,De-verbalization,and the reorganization of the original language.Through the translation practice,this paper puts forward the effective strategies to deal with the problem of long difficult sentence translation,in order to provide reference for the translation practice of tourism interpretation in the future.
