The Paper have established two corpus and analyzed linguistic features by collecting plenty of linguistic data of academic writing from Korean and Chinese students in MTCSOL,in order to explore linguistic features of Korean students' academic writing.The linguistic features come from Biber' s,Shengli Feng and Zhengsheng Zhang' s research results according to linguistic features of Chinese and English.Then confirmed linguistic features more than one hundred items and divided them into different words and sentence categories based on Chinese language system.At last,showed and analyzed the data.The paper tends to analyze the regular items of corpus in five aspects,including the number of words,the average length of words,the average length of sentence,the type-token ratio and the percentages of word category,by contrasting Chinese and Korean students' academic articles.It also explores difference of Chinese and Korean students' academic writing from 103 linguistic features which be divided into different words and sentence categories of Chinese,to find some problems existing in Korean students' academic writing,to analyze possible causes and propound some suggestions on the basis of these problems.Finally,to promote Korean students' academic writing skills.The result shows that there are some obvious differences between Chinese and Korean students' academic writing.In general,Korean students' academic articles are shorter,the average length of words and the average length of sentence are both less than Chinese students'.But the percentages of pronoun,adverb and auxiliary word are higher.Korean students' academic writing is less proficient in elegance than Chinese students',and the richness of some common vocabulary is also low.What' s more,Chinese students pay more attention to "meaning" in constructing phrases and sentences,while Korean students mainly resort to structural forms.In total 103 linguistic features,28 of them show up evident differences comparing with Korean and Chinese students'academic writing.
