The acculturation of Yi students in the inland is still not a integrated research.On the basis of Berry' cultural adaptation theory,this paper studied the features and influence factors of acculturation of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland.There have two researches in this dissertation: study one conducted a semi-structured depth interview for 13 of Yi secondary vocational students who learn in Chengdu;study two has carried on the questionnaire survey to 416 of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland by eight questionnaires named Cultural Adaptation Scale?Life Satisfaction Scale?General Health Questionaire-12 ? Perceived Out-group Attitudes Scale ? Ethnic Identity Scale ?Perceived Social Support Scale?Coping Style Scale and QZ-PASS.Through the analysis of the text interviews and questionnaire data,the following six conclusions in this paper:(1)The stress of cultural adaptation of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland including environment ? family ? interpersonal and learning,all aspects of the pressure gradually decreased with the time increased of Yi students studying in the inland.(2)There are three main types of cultural adaptation of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland named integration?assimilation and separation,integration and assimilation are the main factors,the separation is complementary,cultural adaptation present a dynamic and contradictory development characteristics.(3)Life satisfaction and mental health both show cultural adaptation has a ideal results of Yi secondary vocational student in the inland.(4)Perceived attitudes?coping styles?personality traits?social support and ethnic identity all have different degree of influence on cultural adaptation of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland,have significant correlation with cultural adaptation,and can predict the cultural adaptation.(5)Social support as a mediated variable in the personality traits and ethnic identity that affect the cultural adaptation,the highest mediation effect is 30.7%.(6)The characteristic theory model of cultural adaptation reflect the development trend of Yi secondary vocational students in the inland in the contemporary is complex and changeable.
