Liu Xie’s "Image" And Its Enlightenment To Contemporary Image Dissemination

Image is an important performance feature for visual culture communication,which can easily influence people’s ideas and behavior,and even the culture of human society.It is of great significance to explore the value of “image” in the transmission of images by studying the “image” in Liu Xie’s famous literary works named The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons.Taking the “image” of Liu Xie’s literary work as the research object,this paper has placed the“image”against the broad background of Chinese culture.With the related theory of image transmission,it analyzes the specific features of “image” in Liu Xie’s The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons and thus provided a reference for contemporary image transmission.In particular,the "image" in ancient literary theory is combed,then the connotation of Liu Xie’s "image" is defined and summarized,and the development process of "image" thinking is combed,and the historical evolution of "image" thinking is discussed.According to the relevant contents of "image" in the literary theory of Liu Xie,the article analyzes the four important values of "image",the "credibility" of the "image" : it refers to that image has credibility,may also have the misleading;The "transmit" of "image": it refers to the "image" in the process of conveying information has an important role;the "essence" of "image" : it refers to the charm that "image" has,"tendency" the "image": it refers to the important law "image" has.In the last part,the paper makes a brief analysis on the problem of the current image transmission.Next,the interpretation of the important image content of the ancient literary theory of the "image" is carried out: "Literary theory image: The word has thousand images,infinite meaning","traditional Image: The great image is invisible,endless".Through the "image" characteristics of content of literary theory of Liu Xie,a contemporary image dissemination supplementary content is made.
