War-themed movies have always been a major feature of Chinese films and are the most abundant movies made in China.This article summarizes the types of women in modern China's war movies and divides the female images in war movies into three categories: traditional women,revolutionary partners,and spyware agents.These three types have different focuses in each era.In the 1920 s and 1930 s,the image of the traditional virtuous wife,"Bitterly Weak Girl" and "Orphaned Widow",became the mainstream of creation,revealing the ruthlessness of the war through the delicate tragic fate of women.In the 1950 s and 1960 s,the establishment of New China was in urgent need of shaping a new movie image to establish a new China's national image.Under a strong political cultural context,“heroic characters” became the mainstream writing of war movies,from the “revolutionary companion”.It is not difficult to see that the female image of “Revolutionary Women Warrior” is still under the dominant position of men's discourse power at this stage,and the female's repressed packaging is a kind of male cultural unconsciousness.Since the 1990 s,movies have entered the era of consumer culture.The female image has been greatly improved before it was compared,but it has still not escaped the state of being peeped.The image of women in this period is beautiful and varied.Satisfy people's aesthetic psychology,but also meet the sensory pleasure of different audiences.This thesis analyzes the transformation of female images in films of movie wars and the aesthetic manifestations on screens of different periods through the time axis,and further analyzes the functions of women's image and the position and the way out of life in the multiple contexts of social culture.The first two chapters of this article use a macro perspective to sort out the images of women in the war movies and summarize the three major types.The third and fourth chapters of this article return to the construction analysis of individual works from a micro perspective.Through discussing the shaping techniques of female images in the personal novel “Love of the Night,” she explores in depth the writing of female image narration techniques that are different from those in the mainstream war movies,which not only retains the personality of the characters in the original novel “Ghost Love”.With other types,it also draws on the shaping techniques and creative ideas of women's images in wartime films of various times.From a theoretical point of view,how to express and interpret the image of women in "Love of the Night" in a textual manner is how to implement the adaptation concept of the original "Ghost Love" at the tip of the pen.In the end,this article compares and analyzes the individual works "Love of the Night" and the adapted film work "Man About Twilight"(1995)in order to take the essence and go to the dregs.Through the whole set of plot settings,image-building and atmosphere construction,the use of script adaptation theory comprehensive analysis of the advantages and disadvantages.At the same time,the original text is cited as the most basic reference for summarizing the differences and choices.This article analyzes the causes of female images in The Love of the Night from three aspects of theory,text,and influence,and tries to establish a dialogue that can be established through the shaping of female images in the war movies.It conveys the interpretation of women by wartime movies in different eras.From this we can clearly see the true situation and the way out of life of women in society.
