Our perception is not a simple passive process that relies on bottom-up processing(Bar,2004,2007,Cheung&Bar,2012 Proffitt,2006)and is not a simple passive process that relies on bottom-up processing(Bar,2004,2007,Cheung&Bar,2012 Proffitt,2006),On the contrary,Our perception are proactive and constructive. The popular point is that the world we see is not only influenced by objects, but also influenced by cultur and society.Actors and their living environment shape their perception of objects(Gibson 1979),that is,individual perception is affected by the interaction between individual and environment.Modern scholars study the influence factors of perception and find that the perceptron's expectation, motivation, material resources, psychological resources, and behavioral abilities are the factors that affect perception.Power is the key social factor that determines the availability of personal resources.Powerful people live in an unrestricted environment where they receive rich rewards such as financial resources, physical comfort and social acceptance, while powerless people Powerless people live in various restrictions.Their access to resources must depend on others(Emerson,1962;Fiske,1993;Keltner,Gruenfeld,&Anderson,2003).Power is not just the control of resources,or just a person's social status.Power is also a state of mind-a person's ability to influence others(Bugental,Blue,&Cruzcosa,1989;Galinsky et al.,2003).This shows that power,as a property of social relations, not only as a structural variable, but also as a kind of psychological variable,if we regard power as a kind of psychological variable,we call it the sense of power.Power is not the power actually possessed. It is the individual's perception of his power and his perception of the power of others(Anderson,John,&Keltner,2012;Keltner et al.,2003).Those with high power are full of confidence in life. They feel that they are more capable. They tend to stereotype low power people and form discrimination and prejudice against them.Powerless people live in a variety of restrictions. In order to get rich resources, they must obey their leaders. They tend to despise themselves and form a halo effect on their leaders. There is a natural link between power and physical size where physical size is taken as a symbol of power(Fiske,1992,2004;Jacob,2007).In the animal world, physical size is an important clue to power, and primates have high priorities for food, spouses, places of residence, and favorite items. In the human world, height is also generally used to metaphorical power, and height is related to higher wagesPhysical size is the external manifestation of power.we study whether the sense of power will affect the perception of others. Two experiments prove that our perception is influenced by a sense of power,a high power experiment proved that priming subjects underestimate others' height, low power start-up subjects under overestimate others height. We further explored whether gender can regulate the influence of power on perceptions of others, but did not find a regulatory role of gender.we can draw the conclusion that power interferes with our interpretation of visual information, namely people's power status can affect their interpretation of the physical size of others. In Experiment 2,we introduced the variable of legitimacy to investigate whether perceptions of power in the illegitimate context may change the physical size of others. The experimental results show that:in the case of power legality, the low power people overestimate the physical size of others, the high power underestimate the physical size of other,However, when the power is illegitimacy, there is no difference in the assessment of the target individuals.
