Mr.Tang wenxuan was an outstanding Chinese painting artist and art educator in the second half of the 20 th century with the growth of the People's Republic of China.His art in the 20 th century,under the time background of the sharp collision of western culture,in the era of Chinese national painting is very difficult and tortuous evolution,has the most significant representative and uniqueness.His freehand brushwork and flower-and-bird paintings have taken Chinese painting to a whole new height and formed its own artistic features in the expressive content and formal language.In realism will show simple rural life scene,make breakthroughs in the performance of traditional Chinese paintings,widen the flower-bird painting art realm,original,also have strong spirit of the age.He created the ink in the tiger's novels,aggressive pen,the physical structure of the tiger and inside and outside the spirit of tolerance,is more anthropomorphic,focus on performance as a kind of life in the natural ecological ontology.In this paper,the representative works of the flowers and birds in the rural areas are selected as the research objects,and the artistic features of the flower and bird paintings of the rural themes are studied in detail.Based on the social environment and time background of Mr.Tang wenxuan,this paper probes into the reasons for the formation of flower and bird painting in rural areas,and comprehensively discusses the artistic features formed in the process of its development.Finally,objective analysis of Mr.Tang's rural themes of flower and bird painting thought and the impact on later generations.
