The Study Of The Collation And Gloss Of FengSuTongYi

FengSuTongYi(??????)is an important custom work by Ying Shao who was lived in the Eastern Han Dynasty.Records contain a large number of Han Dynasty anecdotal stories,etiquette,historical figures,geographical features.But most of the volumes has been lost.After many scholars in the Ming and Qing Dynasties compile the entries,the book is composed by ten volumes now.The collation and gloss work is started by Lu Wenchao and Sun Yirang,after the effort of Wu Shuping,Wang Liqi,and Zhao Hong,the collation and gloss work of the book is almost complete.However when we read different versions of this book,we found there are still many problems in the collation and gloss.The main part of this paper discuss the problems from this two aspects on the basis of the scholars' work.We take the FengSuTongYiJiaoZhu(1981)(????????)written by Wang Liqi as the original text,refer the FengSuTongYiJiaoShi(1980)(????????)written by Wu Shuping and FengSuTngYiQuaYi(1997)(????????)written by Zhao Hong,as well as the QunShuShiBu written by Lu Wenchao,ZhaYi written by Sun Yirang.On the one hand,we discussed eight collate problems,including wrong words,doubtful words,and missing words.On the other hand,we discussed fourteen gloss problems,which is about language situation,phonetic loan characters,explanatory notes,and so on.We hope this paper can provide some useful messages to sort out FengiSuTongYi(??????).
