Regain The Spring Festival Atmosphere—Discussing Picture Book Creation From The Perspective Of Cultural Inheritance

With the rapid development of economic society and modern technology,the traditional folk culture on behalf of the Spring Festival has faced strike and the Spring Festival atmosphere has becoming more and more tasteless.Most children know how to celebrate western festivals while they are not aware of the cultural connotation of traditional Spring Festival.This essay commit itself to create children picture books with the topic of the Spring Festival so as to discuss picture book innovation from the perspective of cultural inheritance.At one hand,the author wishes to help open up a novel road for original picture books.Meanwhile,at the other hand,by the design of picture books and the peripheral extended activities,the author hopes to attract children to participate in various enjoyable and educational festival activities in all-around way,in order to motivate their interest in traditional festival culture and help better inherit and carry forward traditional folk culture in China.The essay consists of four parts:The first part discusses the source of topic selecting and the background of the picture book creation.The second part discusses the theoretical foundation and analyzes the market.By analyzing the fading trend of the atmosphere of Spring Festival as well as the World Heritage application issue of both South Korea,and by the application effect of western festivals into foreign picture books,the essay discusses the significance of folk culture inheritance and the necessity of introducing it into picture book practical creation.By market research it analyzes the practical need of parents and children for festival picture books and then determine the creation content.The third part concludes the working practices of picture book hall and field tours and the influence in the design of picture books and the peripheral extended activities.The fourth part discusses the picture book practical creation and,in detail,analyzed the creation methods and process of the children’s picture book The Spring Festival Enjoyment.With the given aim,the essay researches and determines the picture book style,illustration creation,the arrangement of words and pictures as well as the design of both the front and back covers,and complete the creation of the picture book.
