Latin dance,which can help children build up good postures and body temperaments,has been very popular in China nowadays,more and more people choosing this sport.For cultivating their children's talents and hobbies,parents consider Latin dance as a priority for their children to learn.However,there is a lack of theoretical research on Latin dance teaching for children among sports dance training institutions in Beijing.Especially,the teaching content of the children Latin dance is not normative and scientific.Therefore,this study investigated the teaching status of Latin dance for children among sports dance training institutions in Beijing.Furthermore,the teaching content was optimized to provide references for teaching in the future.This study used methods of documentary,questionnaires,interviews and mathematical statistics,based on the principle of teaching content settings,through the analysis of teaching status of sports dance for children in Beijing and influencing factors of teaching content selection,and then optimize the teaching content,in order to provide theoretical reference and reference for children's Latin dance in Beijing sports dance training institution.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Among sports dance training institutions in Beijing,teachers mainly played both the parts of male and female dancers,which impaired the demonstration effect of action;For the selection and arrangement of teaching content,most teachers had no clear references as basis and tended to trust their personal experiences.Furthermore,most teachers were short of playing leading roles.Among sports dance training institutions in Beijing,there was no clear division for classes according to students' levels and standards of classification levels,resulting in the difficulty in choosing in the teaching content.2.The selection of the teaching content of children Latin dance among sports dance training institutions in Beijing mainly depends on the main factors of students and teachers)and objective factors such as parents and training institutions.3.According to principles of teaching content,which included interestingness,scientificity,basic and development,this study developed children's Latin dance teaching content of three-level index system,including 4-item first-level indicators and 13-item second-level indicators for basic knowledge,and 5-item first-level indicators,11-item second-level indicators,74-item third-level indicators for techniques.4.The optimization of children's Latin dance teaching content included main parts and extended parts,among which there were 8 items?5items of main parts and extended parts about basic knowledge respectively,48 items of the main parts and 26 items of the extended parts about techniques.5.Dividing the teaching of children Latin dance among sports dance training institutions in Beijing into the enlightenment stage,the primary stage,the intermediate stage and the advanced stage,the curriculum of each stage and the teaching content of each stage are optimized,among which specific implementations could be changed according to the actual teaching requirements.
