On The Digital Display Art Of Bai Nationality Tie-dyeing

Bai ethnic tie-dyeing is one of the first batch of famous traditional handicrafts that have been included in the National Intangible Heritage List.In Dali City,Yunnan Province,China has one of the largest Bai villages in the country,Zhoucheng Village,which is also known as the "hometown of tie-dye of Bai people" due to the fact that the village is full of tie-dyeing workshops and is rich in tie-dye fabrics.However,Bai Zha Zhan now faces certain obstacles in the development of product forms,sales channels,practitioners,and traditional methods of inheritance.Therefore,it is necessary to combine the traditional Bai Zha Zhan and modern technology organically to develop new development approaches..Based on the background of the development of the tie-dyeing of the Bai ethnic group in Zhoucheng Village,this paper combines the historical background and the traditional characteristics of craftsmanship,and proposes a combination of tradition and modernity to digitalize the display of the tie-dye of the Bai ethnic group in order to promote its development.On the basis of summarizing the concepts and characteristics of digital display and other relevant contents,the necessity,possibility and design principles of Bai ethnicity digital display were explored,and the results of digitalization of existing cultural heritage presented in the form of APP were analyzed.It aims to digitally display the Bai tie dye in the form of APP.The final part of this article is about the specific introduction of the "Bai ethnic tie-dyeing" APP display practice.The main contents of the display include the historical background,traditional patterns,and jacquard techniques of the Bai ethnic tie-dyeing,and provides users with sharing,sales,and purchase of works.The function enables more people to understand the Bai nationality and tie-dye,and is beneficial to the “hometown of Bai ethnic tie-dye”—the tourism of Zhou City and the development of social economy,and thus play a role in the development and dissemination of this intangible cultural heritage.
