A Study On The Art Of Chinese Small Theatre Campus Drama

In the 1980 s,the campus drama returned to the stage of Chinese drama.In this period,in order to find a new outlet for Chinese drama,Chinese small theater drama became the mainstream.The campus drama has been revived in the form of small theater drama in absorbing the theory of Chinese small theater drama.In fact,as early as the period of the Amateur,the South National Society,the Drama Association and other student performing troupe have practiced western theater drama.Because of campus drama’s characteristics,there is a connection between campus drama and small theater drama all the time.It can be said that the contemporary campus drama is part of the Chinese small theater drama and contemporary campus drama also can be called Chinese contemporary small theater campus drama.This paper mainly exposits the definition of campus drama and the research objects of Chinese contemporary small theater drama.The first chapter mainly combs out the history of campus drama development;the reasons for the revival of the campusdrama in Chinese small theater in the 1980 s and the current development of Chinese contemporary small theater campus drama.The second chapter mainly discusses the artistic features of Chinese contemporary small theater drama from the aspects of script literature,stage characteristics,performance,audience-actors relationship and drama spirit.In the third chapter,it discusses the artistic value of the contemporary small theater campus drama from the role of the campus drama on the campus culture construction and the function of the mainstream drama in China.One of the artistic values is to make the students consciously aesthetic education and through the aesthetic education to promote the all-round development of students.The second part is that the contemporary small theater campus drama is the original driving force of the mainstream drama in China,which can convey the drama talents to the mainstream drama and make more people like drama.At last,the conclusion is mainly talk about the problems faced by contemporary small theater campus drama and its future direction.
