The classicism prevailing in Europe in the 17th century as an artistic trend is both a glory in the old century's culture and a classic in the entire human art.Its main principle is to use the ideals of ancient art and artistic norms to embody the epochal nature and moral values.Through major historical events,it expresses the current art-ists' thoughts and feelings so as to achieve the effect of narrating anecdotes of the past in alluding to the present.The techniques and techniques of classical painting mainly focus on physical sketches and light and shadow space.It is concise in its shape,but the screen is precise and exquisite,pursuing dignified and solemn.From the end of the 18th century to the beginning of the 19th century,due to the evolution of European political and economic background,"neoclassicism" began to appear.It was different from the "classical" of the past,and it was called the "classical revolution" It reintro-duced the ancient Greek art language.At that time,a new batch of artists gradually appeared,opening the curtain for the transformation of the new era.With the evolution of the era,Chinese contemporary realistic oil paintings have also begun to flourish.With the concerted efforts of numerous researchers,many masterpieces have been handed down to promote the prosperity of today's Chinese art.Today's "classical" is not just a simple copy of European classical oil painting,but a process based on the extraction and reshaping of the current cultural background.Although it focuses on learning,it has its own unique artistic language.This article combines the historical background of European classicism with the main representative figures and works of each period to analyze the transformation of this oil painting,and to compare and illu-strate the impact on the current trend of Chinese realism painting.
