Types And Methods Of Art Guiding

Though the theory of "Art Guiding" is still in formation,and there is no textbook of this subject yet,the term "art guiding" guided is not new in recent year.Many theaters or show organizers have started "art guiding;" offering previews of programs has become a common phenomenon in the performing arts industry regardless the fact that "art guiding" has not become a specific term yet.Contextualized in Taiwan's Theater and Concert Hall,and theaters in Shanghai,this study classifies and different aspects of the current guided tours based on the analyses and interpretations of collected statistical data.Based on these analyses,the case study of the production of German Musical Eizabeth performed in Shanghai Culture Square explores how the"art guiding " can beneficial to the audience,performed program and hosting theater.This thesis is divided into three chapters.Chapter one classifies different aspects of "art guiding" based on the analysis of statically data in the context of current performing arts industry and make a distinction of art guiding,art education and art marketing.Based on the analyses of the art guiding in current performing arts industry,chapter two explicates the art guiding of the 2014 Shanghai tour of musical "Elizabeth." Chapter three explores the "art guiding " of the musical "Elizabeth," the object of this study.
