Pierre Bonnar was a French artist in the 19 th century and the main force of the Nabis school(Bonar for short). He was influenced by the Japanese ukiyo-e painting in the early days.Because of his unique painting style,he was called "Nappi Japan".It is not difficult to see that Chinese traditional art thinking is also permeated in his paintings, and his works express subjective interests. In terms of technique,it is influenced by Chinese ink painting, and the white space is often used to create a sense of ventilation.Bonnar not only absorbed the use of the color of the Impressionist, but also always draws a line with the Impressionists.Although the pursuit of light color effects is the same as that of the impressionism,it is more irrational than the impressionism in the description of objects.Injecting emotions and subjective consciousness into the processing of colors, the works of his later years have presented dreamlike poetry, and he has become a “color magician”.This article attempts to learn from Bonnar's life and the causes of his painting style;to analyze the painting style of Bonnar's paintings;and to give me the inspiration of painter's painting style. These three parts are discussed.
