Report On The Simulated Consecutive C-E Interpreting Of The 19th Zhejiang Investment And Trade Symposium

Nowadays,with the promoting of "One Belt And One Road" Initiative,more countries and international institutions would like to participate and build a community of shared interests,common future and common responsibility in which it is political-mutual-trust,economy-integrated and culture-inclusive.Under the background,the 19 th China Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium was held by the government to introduce itself to the outside that ZheJiang has better investment environment.With the propose of using the interpreting theory into practice,I chose the interpreting material from this Symposium and started my simulated consecutive interpreting.The interpreting material are the third item ”Leaders` Speech” and the fourth item “Dialogue”.the difficult points of the symposium are the special terms and words with Chinese characteristics.So,the interpreter is facing great challenges of how to accurately convey the information.For the purpose of analyzing problems in interpretation,suggesting some strategies and guiding further research,the author engages in this simulated practice report.Further,the report deepens the understanding of which the interpreting theory using in the practice.More importantly,it could provide some reference for others.
