Perception Origin And Emotion Direction Of Red Color In Ancient China

This thesis summarizes the source,classification and emotional direction of the red color system,and studies the question of development,evolvement and docking in color concepts from the visual to the figurative.Red color has played an important role in Chinese cultural system.Red color involves many expressions of cultural connotation and beautiful emotions;only through systematically study can people find its source.Based on the recent studies,it can be found that most scholars studied red color from a perceptual perspective,lack of logic,which is related to their eras in some ways.Combined with all achievements from the former scholars,the author will comparatively study this question under the current circumstance.Focusing on source of perception and emotional direction,the author studies the red color from three aspects:theory expansion,new research angle&aesthetic culture and application of human beings.The thesis first studies the semantic structure of color red,and explore deeply from the natural and artificial fields.Second,the thesis summarizes the application and perception of color red,from the visual to the figurative,in order to find the correct perceptual things from differences of perceptions,paving the way for researching aesthetic perception.Last,the thesis analyzes the emotional direction of red color from two sides.Considering emotional direction is subjective,the thesis selects The Book of Songs and The Songs of Chu to make value judgment,aims to help figurative analysis of the basic questions of red color.From a systematical perspective,the author takes consideration of all the meanings of red color,including the meanings given by human cognitive behaviors during the study,in order to better clarify the perceptions that ancient people wanted to express.Based on the academic question of "perceptual source and emotional value",the thesis studies the red color from thing to the visual to the feelings,in order to put forward new points of view and thinking directions,and at the same time,providing academic support for inheriting and carrying forward traditional color culture.Red color gives special feelings to people,the thesis aims to find a generally applied research method from the study of red color,as a result,to deepen the influence and value that color research can bring to the culture and society.
