Ascetic Probing-A Study Of Li Keran's Method Of Painting From Nature

Li Keran is an outstanding painter and educator in the history of Chinese painting in the twentieth Century.The style of painting he created is known as "Li landscapes ",which has refreshed the appearance of Chinese painting.In his long life sketching practice,he summed up the sketch method,which is the enrichment and perfection of Chinese landscape painting method.This paper mainly studies Li Keran's sketching method.In the research,he sketches his sketch attitude,observation way and sketch method in his teaching,and makes a preliminary discussion on the reasons for his artistic appearance.In the study process,first of all,he has a more deep understanding of Mr.Li Keran's art and art thoughts,and then makes a more systematic study of his method of painting.The method is general.These sketching methods can be used for reference in future sketching.They are enlightening and referential for the current sketch teaching.The development of Chinese painting in the mid twentieth Century has ushered in a new peak of painting.Li Keran is in the historical period,when for ascetic probing.He achieved his status in the twentieth Century Chinese painting history.His sketching method,summed up in his long life teaching practice,not only benefited his students at that time,but after several generations' efforts,this method of sketching has now become one of the courses in the teaching of Chinese painting in the college.This is enough to explain the importance of Li Keran's painting from nature method.
