The Characteristics And Living Inher Itance Of Nvshu Music

Nvshu,also known as female scripts,is a kind of note word and syllable phonography.Only used by women,the character is a rare female culture,and also a miracle in the development of Chinese culture.Nvshu was found in Jiangyong County,Hunan Province,and its surrounding areas,thus it is also called Jiangyong Nvshu or Yongming Nvshu.Where Nvshu comes from is a question long been discussed.Experts and scholars have come to a deduction after multidimensional researches,and there are also a lot of folklore in Jiangyong,but where exactly the character comes from is still a mystery.Since its discovery,Nvshu has attracted the attention of experts and scholars from all walks of life,and the multidimensional researches about Nvshu have yielded some results.Especially in literature,a large number of Nvshu works have been excavated and rescued,and the characters summarized,sorted and standardized,which have largely saved Nvshu.The unique culture can be categorized as literature,and also music.Actually,it is a special culture that perfectly integrates literature and music.How to protect and inherit this special culture requires us to have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of it.Having browsed a large amount of literature,the author finds that there is little information on Nvshu music.Music,as one of the main carriers of Nvshu,fully embodies the necessity of studying the meaning of the culture,and also lays a foundation for the living inheritance of Nvshu.This paper comprises of an introduction and four chapters.The introduction elaborates reasons and significance of the topic,and summarizes the research achievements and research status of Nvshu in recent years,and then clarifies the research framework and methods of this paper.The first chapter mainly elaborates the basic information of Jiangyong Nvshu,including its digging process,location,relevant researches by scholars and experts,its origin that is popularity among the public,and the characters,inheritance,as well as cultural characteristics.Chapter two analyzes the musical connotation of Jiangyong Nvshu:first,the cultural connotation of music in Nvshu customs;second,the musical characteristics,and at last,the function and application of music.In chapter three,according to the investigation data and analysis,the present status of living inheritance of Nvshu music is stated,and the factors that influence the living inheritance of Nvshu music is analyzed.In the fourth chapter,according to the literature and fieldwork,the paper puts forward several measures to inherit the Nvshu in a lively manner,including efforts and improvement from the perspective of government agencies,inheritors and education institutions.
