| Self-presentation in a social networking site is an action that individuals use to control the formation and change of their own impressions by controlling the presentation of informational content and methods related to the individual when they use social networks for interpersonal activities.Therefore,the self-representation of social networks has also drawn increasing attention from research scholars in recent years with the rapid development of social networking.In this study,middle school students were the subjects of the study,and the students’ self-representation of social networking sites when using social networking platforms for interpersonal activities was investigated,and their influence on the subjective well-being of middle school students was further explored,as was social support.Mediating Role.The author also hopes that through this study,students in the daily under intense academic pressure will be able to release themselves on the platform of social networks,and their social networking self-presentation content will become more meaningful to further improve the subjective well-being of middle school students.On the basis of reviewing the relevant literature,this article uses 818 students from two high schools in S District of Chongqing City as research subjects,and conducts a questionnaire survey on the subjects using the social network self-presentation questionnaire,the overall well-being questionnaire,and the perceived social support questionnaire.This paper analyzes the status of self-representation,subjective well-being and social support of middle school students in S district of Chongqing,and explores the internal mechanisms of social network self-presentation and subjective well-being,proposes hypotheses and verifies the social support between the two effects.Finally,social networking self-presentation scale was used to screen out individuals with different self-presentation methods.Six active social network self-presenters were selected and divided into experimental group and control group.Three subjects in the experimental group were given individual intervention.Verification can further improve the subjective well-being of subjects by improving their social support.The results of this study are as follows:(1)The overall social network self-expression,subjective well-being and social support of middle school students are at a good level of development.(2)There is no significant difference in the self-representation of social networks among the four social statistical variables of the students’ social network self-presentation whether they are only children,students’ academic performance,whether they are class cadres,and grades.There are significant differences in the two dimensions of gender and residence.(3)There is no significant difference in the subjective well-being of middle school students in terms of sex,grade,whether they are only children,whether they are class cadres,and there are significant differences in the dimensions of different places of residence and different grades.(4)There is no significant difference in the statistical variables of gender among the middle school students in terms of gender,grade,whether they are only children,their grades,and whether they are class cadres,but there are significant differences in the dimensions of different places of residence.(5)Positive social network self-presentation has a significant negative correlation with social support and subjective well-being;real social network self-presentation is positively correlated with social support and subjective well-being;subjective well-being is significantly positively correlated with social support.(6)Social support plays an intermediary role between social network self-presentation and subjective well-being.(7)Case intervention for active social network self-presenters can improve their subjective well-being by increasing their social support,indicating that case intervention is more effective.The above findings are basically consistent with the research hypothesis. |
