The Application Of The Music Elements Of Mukam In The Modern Zither Music In Xinjiang

Mukam,the traditional music and cultural treasure that the Xinjiang Uygur people are proud of,is a combination of traditional music and dance and the essence of music.This paper takes the modern kite song "Western theme Rhapsody",which is based on Xinjiang Mukam music,as an example,and analyzes the musical elements of Mukam from the aspects of the characteristics of Mukam music,the creation techniques and the zither.The music core of this work is rooted in the traditional Chinese folk music--Mukam music of Xinjiang Uyghur nationality.It draws on the modern Western music creation system to create modern Kite music in Xinjiang Mukam style.In recent years,many composers have created many outstanding modern kites using modern Western composition techniques,which not only enrich the performance of the zither and the content of music works,but also greatly promote the ancient kites.
