The Modeling And Aesthetic Expression Of Ceramic Materials In Installation Art

The Chinese ceramic culture dates back thousands of years ago,which is one of the outstanding traditional culture that makes Chinese people proud.With the vigorous development of modern art,the traditional modelling techniques and functional features of ceramic materials are challenged.As a new type of art in the 20 th century,the installation art has gradually become the “ darling ” of various exhibitions with various materials,changeable modelling and multiple displays,and has gradatim infiltrated into other art categories,in this context,to carry out the research on the moulding mode of ceramic materials in the installation art.In this paper,the characteristics of the installation art and the comprehensive applicati on of the ceramic materials are studied,it is from the aspects of the modelling langua ge and modelling method of ceramic materials,the moulding methods of ceramic mate rials in the installation art are focus on analyzing with various angles of artistic thinki ng,and from the ceramic material conveyed the decoration beauty,space beauty,emotion al beauty to explore the formal beauty of ceramic materials.The characteristics of spa ce,freedom,interactivity,openness and so on in the installation art will help to develop the ceramic materials in the shape of space environment.The ceramic material combines the installation art form,which will promote the two types of art to learn from each other,and the ceramic materials will get inspiration from modelling and display space,the artist’s own emotional appeal and concept of the expression will be satisfied,to bring the viewer a richer sense of vision,for the future development of ceramic materials to contribute nutrients.
