In thousands of years,Hunan has bred a great number of time-honored brands,which are the passeur of the heritage of Huxiang culture and bear inestimable cultural and economic value for the development of Hunan.With the rapid development of market economy and the increasing trend of globalization,the traditional brands of Huxiang have been plunged into the double predicament of the impact of domestic & foreign brands and its own limitation.Considering the government's appeal of reviving the old Huxiang,this topic makes an in-depth investigation into the market situation of the old Huxiang.It is believe that brand visual image is an indispensable development means of enterprises,and an important breakthrough direction for the rise of the old Huxiang.According to the investigation and analysis,there are certain issues such as the lack of standardization of brand visual elements,the aging of brand image,the absence of vigor,indistinct brand culture and characteristics,inefficient brand image integration strategy and so forth.In view of the visual factors hindering the development of Huxiang brand,it is urgent to redesign the visual image of the time-honored brands of this place.According to the characteristics and requirements of the brand visual image design,in combination with the visual image redesign of Huxiang culture and the time-honored brands,the development can be carried out in four aspects,namely,constructing system & standardized visual image system,promoting the rejuvenation of brand image with the design of concept innovation,deepening the cultural connotation of the time-honored brands of Huxiang,and expanding the visual communication forms of new media.Optimizing the brand visual image design of the Huxiang time-honored brands can not only fuel the inheritance of Huxiang culture,but also make the brand conform to the trend of the times,thereby strengthening the brand popularity,enhancing the influence of the old industry,so as to attract more young consumers and to promote the further development of the Huxiang time-honored brands.
