Aesthetic thought of wild is accompanied by the establishment of the relationship between man and wild, which presents different aesthetic characteristics in different periods of historical development.Combined with the evolution history of the relation between man and wild, the aesthetic image of the wild can be divided into four main types:First, the wild as a hostile force is a target of fear and a negative value existence.it is also a target of being conquered.Second, the wild as a symbol of virtue. It has the same value as humans. It mainly refers to the virtue of the wild that is connected with humans.Third, the wild as a spiritual apocalypse. It has a higher value than human, and palies on a leading role.Fourth,as the wild of living home.It also has higher value and has the spirit value and the native dwelling value to human. Each aspect of the wild image above constitutes the historical background for the study of the wild aesthetics in contemporary. The contemporary aesthetic thought of wild mainly emphasizes the ecological value. While emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between wild and humans,it emphasizes the natural habitat of wild and presents a theoretical contradiction. This is the biggest theoretical obstacle existing in contemporary and has the most in Ralston's writings. The ecological shift is import to emergence of the natural beauty and solution of the ecological crisis. However,it also leads to the contemporary dilemma of wild.In practice, both adhere to the dominant position of man and seek the harmonious coexistence of man and wild. This may be the way out.The future of wild aesthetics must not be without the wild, and there must be no one.The future of the wild is the future of man,and vice versa.
