Alessandro Scarlatti was a renowned composer in middle or late period of Baroque as well as the founder of Neapolitan Music School.In his whole life,he composed 115 operas which presented different styles in its material content and explored boldly in the creation of curved techniques.He had played an incomparable role for the development of Italian classical vocal music.Even after more than three hundred years have passed,the charm of the works of his vocal music isn't faded with the time goes by.The artistic value of his works is enduring in the development of vocal music.In addition,his works have become classics in contemporary vocal music learning and are included in many vocal music works to learn and sing.Scarlatti's works not only can reflect his own creative characteristics,but also the overall style of the music in Baroque period,possessing certain research meaning.From the perspective of history,this thesis combines the historical background and the cultural development in Scarlatti's time to explore the forming reason of his creating skills.This thesis then analyzes his overall creative characteristics.Finally,it combines the experience of my individual learning and singing to make a detailed analysis of the key points of Scarlatti's four works,systematically exploring the artistic characteristics and creative value of the vocal music works in Scarlatti's time or even in Baroque period,offering positive assistance for the development of modern vocal music.
