Teacher language is a basic skill for every teacher,paralanguage as an indispensable part of teacher language is crucial,if used correctly,it can enhance teachers’ language charm and be conducive to teaching activities.For many novice teachers,it is their goal to grow quickly and to look after master teachers.To this end,we need to constantly improve ourselves in all aspects,and the use of paralanguage cannot be ignored.To recognize paralanguage using gap between master teachers and novice teachers,firstly we need to get language usage of master teachers and novice teachers for data analysis and contrast.In addition,it is necessary to explore the real purpose and intention of the use of the paralanguage,and find out the reasons for the deficiency.In this paper,by means of class observation,audio sound wave analysis,comparative analysis,in-depth interviews and other methods,we acquire and analyze Chinese classroom paralanguage of two master teachers and two novice teachers from the sound way,functional voice,partition and empty phenomenon,to acquire paralanguage quantitative relationship,and contrast differences between the two groups,and finally find out real intention of using paralanguagen through the interviews to teachers’ self awareness.The purpose of this paper is to acquire paralanguage using enlightenment through the contrast analysis of master teachers and novice teachers paralanguage usage,and try to put forward suggestions to let everybody Chinese teachers to understand the crucial importance of paralanguage,to strengthen the self awareness and self reflection of paralanguage ability,so as to improve the quality of Chinese teaching,to promote the teaching quality and achieve good teaching effect.
