Chinese bronze mirror has a long history,in the long history of the river is not only people must be the daily necessities,but also exquisite handicrafts.Its superb art,handsome in appearance,diverse forms,not only decoration,unique craftsmanship,and decorative themes rich and colorful.One of the traditional Chinese dragon ornamentation as the representative of the bronze mirror pattern,a symbol of only the status of the higher position of the owner can use,so this type of dragon bronze mirror casting reflects the ancient artists and casting artisans rich imagination and excellence The creativity.This paper analyzes the historical changes of this field,and on this basis,it summarizes the shape and totem of the early traditional dragon,and then studies the cultural characteristics of the dragon from different sides.In view of the spring and autumn,the Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty as the peak of the development of bronze mirror art,so focus on the Spring and Autumn Period,the Han Dynasty and Sui and Tang Dynasties as the representative of the characteristics of the dragon to do a detailed analysis and exploration.Including the Spring and Autumn Warring States period of the three dragons,Kui Long pattern and dragon and phoenix pattern;the Han Dynasty period of Pan Chi and four dragons;Sui and Tang Dynasties Yunlong and Shuanglong and so on.The Song and Liao Jin period and the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties of the dragon pattern bronze mirror also do the corresponding research.At the end of this paper,the composition and combination of traditional bronze mirrors are summarized and introduced.On this basis,the essence of traditional art is further extended and inherited in modern design.
