Interpreting Report On "Richard Branson Live Event"

This is an interpretation report about the video Richard Branson Live Event.Richard Branson is a famous English entrepreneur,the founder of the brand Virgin.This interview program mainly interviewed his successful entrepreneur process,how to manage the enterprise and his story of life.Based on the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization,this report explores their application in the language and culture level of translation.The term of domestication and foreignization,which was first proposed by the famous American translation theorist Lawrence Venuti in 1995,is still widely debated and discussed in the translation world today.This report consists of six chapters: The first chapter is the introduction to interpreting materials,including background and content as well as selection reasons and significance.The second chapter introduces the procedure of this interpreting,including preparation,interpreting process description and proofreading after interpreting.The third chapter is about document summary,including research focus of domestication and foreignization in China and abroad.The forth chapter introduces the definition and application of domestication and foreignization,the factors that influence the choice of domestication and foreignization.The fifth chapter is the core part of this report—case study,it mainly analyzes the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization in the practical application of language and culture level.And the sixth chapter is the conclusion of this report,which mainly summarizes the harvest and insufficient of this interpreting and puts forward some suggestions for the insufficient.
