Toni Morrison(1931—)was the 1993 winner of the Nobel prize for Literature,an outstanding representative of contemporary American Filipino authoress.She deems that the artistic and sociality of literature are blend with each other.So her works not only embodies lots of literary charm,but also contains a profound social connotation.“Trauma” is one of the important subjects in Morrison's novel.Recent years,the use of Trauma Theory in the study of Morrison,especially in combination with her black female identity and Feminist Criticism Theory.This thesis breaks the limitation of interpreting Morrison's works from the perspective of feminist and racism,mainly based on the related concepts of Trauma Theory,Psychology and Psychoanalysis,combined with the analysis from the narrative perspective in the text,selected Morrison's ten novels about black children's trauma experience as the research object,and tries to show black children's unspeakable trauma experience of different historical periods.In the end,explain her political consciousness and cultural position in her creation practice.This article consists of five parts: The first part is an introduction,mainly introduces Morrison's lifetime,the research status at home and abroad and some related concepts.The second part mainly analyzes Morrison's five previous works about how to use a single narrative perspective to show black children's traumatic symptoms,reveals Morrison's previous narrative purpose is to “complaint” the cruelty actions of the white and “witness” the traumatic memories of black children.The third part mainly analyzes Morrison's later five works about how to use the “polyphony”narrative style to show black children's traumatic symptoms,reveals Morrison's later narrative aims is to promote equal communication between black and white,and different classes of black group with “dialogue” method.The fourth part is mainly through analyzes the narrative perspective of Morrison's previous and later period,according to the African American oral literature “call” and “response” model will be divided into two parts,summarizes Morrison's previous narrative strategy is consistent with the cultural standpoint of her “anti white nature”,while the latter's narrative strategy is the same as that of her “cultural integration”.The fifth part is the epilogue,mainly discusses the changes of Morrison's narrative strategy.
