Expression And Practical Creation For The Form Of Stone Elements In Shiwan Pottery

Stone,the essence of traditional Chinese culture and historical heritage,has been changed during the developing of art,and be presented with abundant and varied art forms.From ancient to modern,the using of stone elements accompanied the developing of the Shiwan pottery,moreover,the spirit and the character of stone elements accomplished the higher achievements of the Shiwan pottery.Moreover,traditional consciousness nowadays became chased after by all art forms.Under the driven and traction by multi-culture in modern society,the Shiwan pottery has broken the existed simple and single outmoded form,and transformed into diversity direction,that the artistic language has been optimized,refined,reformed and innovated.Meanwhile,more and more widely appeared elements have been applied in the Shiwan pottery,and stone is one of them.This thesis contains three parts.First of all,the thesis started with studies of culture in stone and development and transforming of the traditional Shiwan pottery.Secondly,characteristics and influences of stone in the Shiwan pottery will be analysed and classified,moreover,this thesis discusses some key points of stone such as performance,form,decoration layout and so on.Thirdly,by combined with the making,experiencing and creating of pottery stone,this thesis explains the importance of stone elements for presenting of a creation,reveals the effect and value of stone as an element in the Shiwan pottery,and evokes the cultural resonance and emotional expression of people during creating and enjoying the stone elements.
