The Research On Automatic Conversion For Chinese Mathematical Braille

With the advent of the information age,information accessibility related research has been of great concern.literature in various fields in both mathematical symbols and mathematical formulas,scientific and mathematics in everyday life plays a very important role.Blind Braille acquire knowledge through Braille only linear expression information,two-dimensional mathematical formula increases the degree of difficulty for the blind to learn mathematics.Conversion of mathematical information so blind for a very practical sense.Although there is some progress in mathematics and abroad visit of research can,but still unable to achieve normal mathematical formulas into each other Braille mathematical formulas.In this thesis,mathematical formulas in Word to automatically convert Chinese mathematics braille ASCII codes.We designed a MathML intermediate format conversion model.Then using Java technology to develop a mathematical Braille MathML Prensentation to China's software automatically converts ASC? code(hereinafter referred to as SunMath).SunMath convertible mathematical formulas ranging from junior high to high school math scope and range within some universities,in addition,the paper forming characteristics in the following three areas:Firstly,in order to minimize the amount of information to accurately render mathematical expressions in Braille.According to the rules for writing Braille Braille generated ASCII code simplification.Secondly,focusing efficiency of the algorithm.To achieve faster and more accurate mathematical formula to Braille ASCII conversion,in order to facilitate call other programs,we provide a command-line interface.Lastly,Converter using Java technology development,so it has better adaptability,expansibility and portability,has the advantages of easy to transplant,modify and upgrade.In this paper,the MathML presentation expression in a structured format breakthrough,according to the property of their classification,and according to the mathematical formulas to deal with precise conversion to realize the mathematical formula.Finally,to test SunMath,test results show that the conversion of SunMath has higher accuracy and larger convertible scope,basic can be applied to special education teaching in Chinese senior high school and below.
