Objective:1.To observe the clinical efficacy of “Dai Xie Fang” in the treatment of abnormal glycolipid metabolism in metabolic syndrome by randomized and controlled clinical trials.2.To prove“Dai Xie Fang” is safe for further clinical promotion. Methods:This study was designed as a randomized and controlled clinical trial. All the cases were collected from January 2017 to November 2018.The cases were all from outpatients of Cardiology Department of Shanghai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After confirming that the patients met the research conditions, they were randomly divided into two groups: western medicine group and the combination of Chinese and western medicine group.Western medicine group was received atorvastatin calcium tablets and metformin hydrochloride tablets. The combination group was treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets, metformin hydrochloride tablets and “Dai Xie Fang”.The treatment period of both groups was 3 months. The research indicators were recorded before and after treatment. Finally, the data were sorted out and the differences were analyzed by using relevant statistical methods.Results:1.Beforetreatment,there were no differences in gender, age, abdominal circumference, course of disease and main research indicators between the two groups, and they were comparable.2.BMI of both groups decreased after treatment, and the difference between two groups was significance(P< 0.05).After three months treatment,BMI of the integrated Chinese and western medicine group was more effective than that of the western medicine group.3.After the treatment, the blood glucose metabolism of both groups decreased, and the difference between two groups was significance(P< 0.05).After three months treatment, the blood glucose metabolism in the integrated group was decreased more effective.4.The blood lipid metabolism of the two groups improved after this treatment, and the difference between two groups was significance(P< 0.05).After three months treatment, the blood lipid metabolism in the integrated Chinese and western medicine group was more effective than that in the western medicine group.5.Insulin resistance improved after the treatment in the two groups, the difference between the two groups was significance(P< 0.05).After three months treatment, the improvement of insulin resistance in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group was more effective than that in western medicine group.6.The symptoms of TCM in both groups were improved after the treatment, and the difference between two groups was significance(P< 0.05).After three months treatment, the improvement of TCM symptoms in the integrated Chinese and western medicine group was more effective than that in the western medicine group.Conclusions:1.The glucose and lipid metabolism with metabolic syndrome can be improved in both groups, and the clinical efficacy of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine group is better than that of western medicine group.2.The TCM symptoms of patients with metabolic syndrome can be improved in both groups, compared with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine group, the clinical efficacy is better.3.“Dai Xie Fang” is safe and effective in clinical treatment. |
