Information Flow,Material Assistance And Regulations Setting

The emergence of global elements such as cross-border trade and population mobility has created both opportunities and challenges for the health and well-being of all mankind.As the world becomes more interconnected,the global health landscape is becoming more complex.In response to this circumstance,all countries around the world have begun to explore the path of health governance suited to their national conditions.Thailand is one of the most successful examples of Low to Middle Income Countries in exploring the path of health governance.Domestic Development and International Driven Elements are considered to be two major factors for the success of health governance in Thailand.The essence of International Driven Elements is that,International actors have provided favorable conditions for the development of Thailand's health governance.There are three specific ways for International Driven Elements to affect Thailand's health governance,namely,the Globalization of Health Information,the Internationalization of Health Assistance and the Transnationalization of Health Regulations.First of all,the Globalization of Health Information enables advanced disease knowledge as well as diagnosis and treatment technologies to spread from developed countries to Thailand through international cooperation in medical education,research and technology.It also allows information on health emergencies to reach Thailand through global and regional disease surveillance networks.Secondly,the Internationalization of Health Assistance provides Thailand with more adequate and high-quality resources to intervene in health emergencies and build long-term health projects by increasing the international participants in Thailand's health governance and the supply of international health assistance.Last but not least,the Transnationalization of Health Regulations not only sets unified standards,plans development goals and provides policy recommendations for Thailand,but also limits its policy options and serves as its legal basis and action framework from the global,regional and national levels,in order to provides suggestions for Thailand's health governance and prescribes its specific health behaviors.
